This is about sci-fi instead of horror but Fox has got my goat. I'm relly
tired of all the hype of the new Star Wars movie. We are all expected by Fox to
see their crapola movie Wing Commander just so we can see the new SW trailer.
The trailer for Wing just makes the movie look awful. All the hype on the
Phantom Menace makes me lwant to see it less.
I know SW-TPM starts on May 19 and
that is all I need to know. I will see it because I tend to see all event
pictures, but jeez, don't make me feel like I have to see your crap to see your
good stuff (providing WARS is good).

Better yet, how about standing on line for the movie 3 months ahead of time
with a chewbaca mask on and babbling wildly with fellow assdroids about a
fucking sequel? Don't laugh, this is actually happening! And Americans wonder
why the rest of the world thinks we're schmucks.

I will see SW only because it is SW. Though we have'nt gotten hype to
the eyeballs.

Not excited to see it but will check maybe like a Month after it's been

Good point, but I think the whole "I'm gonna see this movie because it has
*the* trailer" mentality is amongst the fans. I'm pretty excited about
Episode 1 myself, but there's no way in hell I'm paying to see something
like Wing Commander just for 2 1/2 minutes of footage.

However, there are those who will (and did), but is it really that
shocking that a studio would take advantage of an opportunity like this?

No, I'm not really shocked, just disgusted. However ,it did good to see it
only pulled in 6 mill the first week. I guess some people do have some smarts,
although some people may have been entertained by Commander. I may end up
seeing it, but it is definitely a fifty cent night at the dollar house for me.

If someone could tell me which films they aren't going to be showing
the new Shit Wars trailer with, I would be very grateful. It was on
Breakfast TV here on Friday and it was endless.
