I hear a lot about this forum and how it is important to otherkin history. This place only has a few posts a year now so I was curious as to whether this place is dead or not.

**New Security Check-in for Visitors:**
HMC-1 has implemented a new
security check-in process in all District buildings. Visitors who arrive
during school hours will be asked to present a photo ID (preferably a
driver's license) upon entering the building. School staff will scan the
ID, and provide a pass after acceptance in the security system. Please
allow additional time for check-in. Thanks for partnering with the District
to make our schools a safe environment for all.

A few posts a year sounds about right.
It's certainly not as active as it was many years ago - there again, we
didn't have the likes of Facebook then.

I still use it and keep an eye on it. Will respond if a post intrigues
me. I'm not on tracebook or twatcher though.

I literally figured out the exact terminology I fit last night and stumbled here today. What are the popular places nowadays?

I think those old popular places have become social bubble that mixes
between other mainstream social media, such as Twitter and Discord.

Some forums survived through the test of time, others suffered database
resets along their internet journey. Rare are the ones that are still
both online and active.
