Hello my name is rose and I am 16 years old. I Am a therian and otherkin. My therio type is a wolf and my kintype is a werewolf, I mostly identify as a werewolf though. At 8 years old I was awakened and realized that my true self was a werewolf(spiritually). I lived in texas at the time and I remember hearing about wolfie blackheart at the time. Funny thing was that a bunch of emo kids that wore tails and said they were werewolves lived in my neighborhood. I was fascinated by them. Whats ironic is that today myself I am actually emo. At age 10 I kept telling my family that I was a werewolf, because my mother kept hearing this from me, she took me to a therapist for it. The therapist thought nothing of it and said it was my "imagination". At this age I knew it wasnt my imagination. Today I am proud to be a were and I am halpy and excited to meet others just like me!

Welcome. I'm guessing you read something about therian history that brought up alt.horror.werewolves and decided to come here, the birthplace of therians, woo!
Unfortunately this place died long ago. They've moved on to forums and social media. I think it would be kinda cool to bring it back but I don't really see it happening. It's little more than an archive at this point.

It's definitely worth reading as an archive. We had some great conversations back in the '90s that would be valuable reading today.
