Fang, Claw, and Steel: A Lycanthrope Zine

First of all, thank you to those kind weres who said they'd like to hear
about my lycanthrope zine.
"Fang, Claw, and Steel" is a new zine dedicated to heroic werewolves and
other werecreatures. Not necessarily action heroes per se. They may be
detectives, hermits, contruction workers, accountants, or whatever. But
they are NOT Hollywood-style monsters. These are the good guys.
Issue #1 is 42 pages and is a special issue focusing on the Man-Wolf,
Marvel Comics forgotten werewolf hero from the 1970s (and my personal
favourite). It includes retrospective articles, lots of artwork, a guide
to appearances, a fan fiction story, fan artwork, and a gallery of how 28
different artists have intrepretted the character over the years.
Subsequent issues will feature a wide range of werewolves, weretigers,
werebears, and werewithall. Original material as well as reviews or
articles about good weres in books, films, comics, and so on. Is there
something you'd like to see in FC&S? Then drop me a line, or better yet,
send a submission yourself.
"Fang, Claw, and Steel" is a not for profit publication. I charge only
enough to cover printing and binding expenses. Contributors receive
free copies of the issues their items appear in. Currently it's a
semiannual publication, but I'd like to go quarterly if it gets enough
contributors. The deadline for submissions for the next issue is May 31.

Q: Is this wolfguy here supposed to be the hero?
A: He's 7' tall with fur, fangs, and claws. He can throw a car and
bite through a 3" steel bar. Of course he's the hero!
