Whether or not you remember me (and whether or not anybody still
reads this newsgroup) I had a radio interview recently. The interview
was done over the phone on the afternoon of Thursday, May 1, recorded,
and played back Saturday, May 3. It was my first interview and it
showed. Some awkward pauses could be heard throughout the interview,
especially right after mentioning "shows I actually worked on". Even
so, I feel the interview went well.
The main focus was on me and my poetry books: To Change The World
And Other Poems, Believing, and Time Will Come. When he mentioned the
various awards I had won over the years, I felt it was time to be
humble. No mention of the Nightmare On Elm Street series or horror
movies in general was made but there was a few sentences about
Hollywood self-criticism by writers and directors which certainly
includes those who make horror movies.
The Introduction of the third book, Time Will Come, contains a
sentence or two about my work on NOES3.
