As apparently Darrick Dishaw isn't posting here any more, I thought I
might do him a service by pointing folks to his new website:

http://www.CultofCthulhu.net/

Here's some new material on the big Lovecraft convention, Cthulhu One:

"at first Anton LaVey was labeled as a nutcase and fruitcake, Aleistar
Crowley, Nietzsche too. some still think they are. i'm sure you could
come up with more great men. this is how it starts, brother. there will
be hate and fear and ridicule and they will tryto destroy us. there is
nothing we can do except keep it real and put a knife through their
throat if they approach with hostility...

"...nothing will stop me from becoming like a God. everything else is
secondary."

Wait. Maybe that's not about Cthulhu One. I apologize.

Anyway, check it out!

The lack of capitals at the start of sentences is always a sure sign someone is off the
deep end.

I still can't imagine why Price and Joshi are going. I could see Price going along with
a joke, but these folks are serious. And all I can imagine why Joshi is going is to tear
their Lovecraft=Satanism connections to little, itty-bitty, tiny shreds.

I do so hope this Satanism/Cthulhu cult convention bombs big time.

*sigh* I wish NecronomiCon was still being held.

There isn't much point in him coming back here, since his curse has no
doubt killed us all:

"Bunch together a group of people deliberately chosen for strong
religious feelings, and you have a practical guarantee of dark
morbidities expressed in crime, perversion, and insanity."
