All illlegal, of course, and as soon as Rolex et al find you they confiscate your
stuff and any money sent to you this far.

Actually, I don't see what he has done illegally. It seems to me the
manufacture may be illegal , but the sale? I don't think this is
contraband. He is billing them as 'fakes.' What exactly is wrong? I
hate to be the one to inform you, but people have been doing this for
years.

Sorry, it's contraband, and a violation of the law in the us and canada
and most countries. Call Rolex and see their reaction. They'll probably
have sombody at the guys house within hours. Not a Rolex guy, nice
man from the government, instead. There are large numbers of people
in the us government that deal with counterfit watches, t-shirts,
jeans, tires, you name it.

I find it interesting that no one would think it cute to drink a fake
bottle of coca-cola, or buy a fake cheverolet. These companies are still
in buisness as are Rolex and the other names mentioned. All that is beeing
done is that the trademark holders are protecting their property.
NAWCC chapters are regularly informed by Rolex of this fact. One of the
other members of our San Francisco chapter, brought in an artical about a
flea market that was shut down for tradmark infrengement.
Personally I think the mark holders are a bit greedy. There used to be an
idea that after the creator died the creation went to public domain for
the benifit of all. Rolex, coca-cola and others decided to change the law.
I think the stupedest example of greed was when ASCAP decided to sue the
Girl Scouts.
