I see the term "calatrava" referring to case configuration. What does it
mean?

Thanks in advance.

Calatrava is the name of a line of watches put out by Patek Philippe, the
premier Swiss watchmaker. Although there have been many models in that line,
the most popular model, the 3919, a has a coin edge gold case, a leather
band, a white face, black Roman numerals and the second hand on a subdial at
6 o'clock. In short, a classic men's dress watch.

It is sort of a "stealth" watch because unless you are in the know, when it
flashes by on someones wrist, you'd never realize that this is a $7,000+
watch and not one of a thousand copies of the design put out at all price
ranges down to $10 Timexs. Compared to a Rolex which shouts out "I'm a
Rolex".

I suppose "Calatrava case" is a way of saying a watch whose case resembles
the 3919.
