I came across an actual, bona fide Montres Allison owner at a party last
weekend. After approx. 5 cocktails he succumbed to opening the case to
expose the movement... Voila! Identical watch and movement that can be
seen in the ei8htohms review: http://makeashorterlink.com/?O184322A4

Suffice it to say, he was not a happy camper. I was wearing a Patek 5070 so
any comparisons were moot.

Oh God, no... I debated for an hour -- constantly diverting discussion away
from the M.A. -- until he made it clear he wanted to talk about HIS watch.
He mentioned he'd received a fantastic deal on the watch, purchased on eBay
from a M.A. dealer.

I've since sent him the link to the review, the guy was ticked before, he's
livid now...

myself. :)

Imagine my horror(delight)... the sublime irony of this guy with his $2.5M
home, $120K Porsche, and posing with this $60 monstrosity.

It was surreal...

Gotta love it. :) I hope these owners give MA hell when they realize
they've been had. Even at $60 it would be a waste of money.

It's only a matter of time. I'm truly amazed how gullible the public can
be. The MA owner in question happens to be a prominent attorney -- I'm
thanking my personal god I've never asked for legal advice from this
individual.

Whatever happened to TA/superwatches? lol

Hi Brian

Montres Allison is a "watch company" that sells ridiculously overpriced
watches.
www.montresallison.com

They buy very cheap watches, put a new "montres allison" face on it and
other cosmetic changes and charge thousands of dollars for them.

I went to the Million Smart Co. website (the manufacturer), and
they stated OEM welcome. MA is their "OEM" customer.

Million Smart claims that they make mechanical chronographs in
China as well. I have never found any of those on sale anywhere,
ebay, Hong Kong shops. Don't know why.

FREE DOWNLOAD OF THIS 34 PAGE BOOKLET - CLICK HERE

If you choose, you may purchase this item on this auction on ebay, or
you may download it with my full authorization to print and re-sell on
ebay by clicking on the link above?at whatever price you choose.? The
goal of this booklet is to educate consumers about the dirty business
of the Swiss Watch Industry.? In my opinion, if you have purchased a
watch with the term "Swiss Made" on it, you may have been duped into
believing that the entire watch was manufactured in Switzerland.? This
is simply not the case.? This book is a real eye opener.? If you choose
to distribute it, I wish you the best of luck.? It is a Microsoft Word
document formatted to print in booklet form.? NOTE - If you are unable
to download it, please email me, and I will email it to you (for no
charge).

This is a great opportunity for you to earn a good income by educating
the world about the unethical practices in the Swiss Watch industry.

This 32 page booklet uncovers the scams in the Swiss watch industry.?
Included is the definition of Swiss Made and what it really means.?
You'll be surprised at how much foreign content primarily from the far
east goes into 'Swiss Made' watches.? This includes many of the best
known watch brands in the world.

This book details the Franck Muller scandal.? The Jaquet scandal in
which Mr. Jaquet's gang had committed armed robbery of trucks carrying
a major company's gold cases for use in counterfeits is included.? The
Franck Muller scandals in which the press has learned that some Franck
Muller watches contain Russian Poljot movements marked Swiss Made is
detailed along with the fact that Mr. Muller's relative had counterfeit
and replica watches and parts confiscated by the Swiss authorities.?
The Metalor incident in which the largest precious metal watch case
manufacturer in Switzerland was laundering millions of dollars for
Saddam Hussein is included.

This book tells of the dirty tactics employed by the Swiss Watch
Industry to scam you out of your hard earned money.? And finally this
booklet tells about the term 'Made in the USA' and its variations and
how they are so much more stringent than the Swiss terms.

Ebay is filled with items bearing the 'Swiss Made' mark, and it is
important that those considering their purchase know of this
information.? If you are interested in a tourbillon, minute repeater,
chronograph, or other complicated watch, you should read this booklet.

A partial list included in this booklet of items that currently use or
have used?the 'Swiss Made' trademark is:

They are not a "watch company". They are a "scam company". They have a watch
manufacturer in China put Montres Allison on their cheap oriental junk
watches and then mark up that $30 watch to $4000 - $7000 retail. They sell
them on ebay for $500+ to unsuspecting fools. These suckers think they're
getting a great deal. It's like putting a Mercedes symbol on a Yugo and
charging $20 million for it.
http://beta.timezone.com/messageView.aspx?forumId=tzclassic&msgId=tzclassic000096

Montres Allison also has a business that sells their own watches on a
replica watch site. Same crap, still overpriced at $160. Also for the
foolish. This is taking that same Yugo, calling it a "Yugo replica" and
charging $250,000 for it.
http://www.allisonreplicas.com/

From what I've read, Terry Allison, the owner, was a con man in the
construction business...and he wasn't unfamilar with prison either. He made
up the name of the town in Colorado that he does his business out of,
"Ensvizzengarten". No such town apparently.

Pure scam.
