Tammy Bruce: 'Crickets' From Dems After Senate Report on Kavanaugh Allegations

On the eve of the midterm elections, Tammy Bruce joined Tucker Carlson to
react to the Senate Judiciary Committee referring a woman to the FBI for
“materially false statements” about Supreme Court Justice Brett Kavanaugh.
Senate Judiciary Committee Chairman Chuck Grassley (R-Iowa) referred Judy
Munro-Leighton to authorities after his office said she alleged that
Kavanaugh and a friend raped her in the backseat of a car -- only for that
story to fall apart.
That allegation came amid Kavanaugh’s confirmation hearing and during a
firestorm over allegations that he sexually assaulted women in high school
and college.
Bruce said Democrats used the various allegations as a "political stunt,"
and she's hearing "crickets" from them and the media now that one of the
accusations has been exposed as an apparent fabrication.
She said if Democrats were really serious about supporting victims of
sexual assault, they should be angry about a false allegation hurting the
wider movement.
"Everybody has run for the hills," Bruce said. "And what this does confirm
is that this was just simply a stunt, that they knew what they were doing,
they didn't care about the impact on women overall and they still don't.
And that is the largest fraud facing the American people."
She said now that the Kavanaugh "fraud" has been exposed, it's clear that
the left is not a champion of women or women's issues.
"They are the enemy of women across this country. And I believe tomorrow
we're going to see some of the results of that."
The committee released over the weekend a 414-page report on the Kavanaugh
allegations, finding "no evidence" to back up the claims and referring two
accusers to the DOJ for allegedly making false statements.
