No surprise there, I expected it. So NY state and others like NJ here, will just
come up with the next law, trying to keep it restricted, while pretending not to.
I like this from the libs:
"The court’s three liberals, in dissent, accused the conservative majority of failing to consider “the potentially deadly consequences of its decision.”
The libs never get it. They are not there to legislate or make laws to address any
problems or to worry about the "consequences". The Constitution doesn't say citizens
have a right to arms, except if some govt decides there are alleged consequences.
The SC is supposed to enforce the existing law and that's what the SC just did.
It's also absurd to be so worried about consequences when so many states allow
citizens to carry, eg Florida and there is no explosion in homicides from legally carried
guns there or anywhere else. There is an explosion in violent crime and death in
the cities run by crazy libs that let criminals run loose, eg San Franciso and NYC.
NYC, any hope the new mayor who is a former cop would get the city on the right
path is gone. He just likes to talk and go out partying at night. The latest great
idea that he and his buffoon police commissioner came up with was to have cops
patrol the subway individually instead of in pairs. They said that seeing what appeared
to be more cops in more places would reassure the public that the subways are safe.
First day a cop got attacked and Adams immediately reversed their great idea.
And this dope was a cop. What could stop crime in NYC is criminals knowing
that some of the public is armed and capable of defending themselves. We might
get there with the SC ruling, but I'm sure the dopey mayor and governor will resist
that and there will be plenty more cases that have to be brought and ruled on.
