I am looking for a procedure for recalibrating the oven temperature for my
Caloric oven. I have looked in home appliance books to no avail. Any
help would be greatly appreciated.

Thanks,

OMEGA has such things (203-359-1660) and maybe Mcmaster Carr does too -
I didn't look.

I did a test for my new kenmore oven. Set temp for 350. Put a thermo on the
middle shelf. The temp cycled from 330-370. Upper rack 350-390, lower rack
310-350. Moral of the story, know your oven whether it's calibrated or not.

Usually you can pull off the oven temperature knob and use the
adjustment screws on the back of the knob. You'll need a high
quality oven thermometer to use as a temp standard.
