Over the past week or so I keep seeing this sort of "too good to be true" crap as ads on Facebook Marketplace...

https://www.goodsbrain.com/

It has to be a scam. Various websites are seen.

Yep, I signed up for one which was flogging a Bosch micro chainsaw
for a similarly stupidly low price. I knew it was a scam and signed up
so I could prove to facebook that it was a scam. Only got chainsaw
gloves, no chainsaw. They would give a full refund if I sent the gloves
back but the shipping cost to china was more than the purchase price
so I told them to get fucked. Paid by PayPal so I got them to reverse
it which they did fine.

Facebook did eventually stop them posting their ads.

I would not order anything from the various website advertisements. If
I can not confirm a place I do not order from. Some say look at the
address on Google maps. I have done that and while it looks
legitiment, some just copy a web address and stick it in their ad.

I order a lot from the web, but most of it is from large companies that
I know are in buisness.

Why did you post this link? What is your connection? My guess this is
just another SPAM post for your crap.

Why did you post a response? What is your interest in scams? My guess this is
just another SPAM post for your daily spam-count.

Here is another Facebook Marketplace scam. A $1000 Honda generator for only $99? Total bullshit. Why can't Facebook admins remove obvious paid ads that are scams? They enjoy the ad revenue even though they are clearly scams?

There seems to be lots of scams showing up on Facebook ( the only social
media I check) . I have noticed the same ads have shown up on Yahoo. I
have not tried to get anyting from them as they seem too good to be
true. There are seveal places on the internet that report on the scams
and I look on that for places that I do order from to see if they are
'good or bad'.

I have bought some things at a local store that deals in discount things
like you see in the ads. Sometimes you can get a good deal that seems
too good to be true, but that is where I can walk in and be sure I am
carrying out something.
