My cousin had a very large room "faux" painted by a professional. She used
a large bristle-brush like they use to clean pool-table felt with. The lady
would use a normal large brush and put "blobs" of three different colors in
about a 10'x10' square, then use the "pool" brush and rub it all together.
Looked pretty cool.
