I just purchased a house that is completely over grown with trees, and as a
result I have mold growing on the alunimum siding. I've heard that TPS will
clean the siding, but wil it kill the mold? I've also been told that a 10%
solution of bleach would kill the mold, but would it react with the alunimum
siding? What type of paint can you use on alunimum siding (white)? The house
has roofing shingles that are about 10 years old, but they are starting to
get moss growing on them. What's the best way to get rid of the moss? One
huge oak tree is growing right over the house and power lines. The tree
service wants to charge $1,200.00 U.S. to clear it.

No matter how hard it is to swallow the cost, you'll never get rid
of the problems until you get rid of the tree(s).

Here's a link that I found that should be helpful. The topic is: "Painting

That still won't take care of the moisture problems that result
from a place being in constant shade during the time the trees are
full of leaves. I've seen it happen way too many times with
sumer cabins in this area, they're always damp and musty, and it's
amazing how much they clear up when the owner has a few critical
trees taken down, let some sunlight in.
