Donald Trump 'was talked out of launching' a missile strike on Iran's
main nuclear site last week after his top advisers warned it could
trigger a war - but is 'still mulling options to punish Tehran'

Someone lock him up before he starts WW3.

Bod submitted this idea :
There are too many republicans in the senate for that.

Just a little bit, but the vast majority of Republicans in DC are either fully on board the
Trump clown bus over the cliff or remaining silent. It's really shocking how much they
fear him. The plan is to appease Trump, he'll go and the Trumpets will finally accept
that he lost. To speak the truth now, they figure, would risk their careers. They ignore
that doing exactly this, appeasing Trump, hoping, waiting, hasn't worked for 5 years.
What they should be doing is pointing out that there is no evidence of any fraud of
any significance, let alone of such scale that it could flip the necessary states. And
that Trump needs to begin complying with the law, doing what every other president
has done, allow Biden access and resources for a transition.

You're right. Democrats love a good war. It makes them feel manly to
send somebody else's kids off to die.

Nice non-sequitur. I was referring of course to the fact that the
Senate has proven that impeachment won't work while Republican Senators
are still under Trump's spell.

What did *you* think 'lock him up' meant?

Impeachment didn't work because ethical people knew the democrats were lying again.

Given that the last four wars have been started by Republican adminstrations,
your statement is proveably false.

Dick Cheney of chicken hawk fame, fits the pattern. I understand he is
angling for a job under Biden. Another RINO goes home to roost.

Still, when you compare the US casualties of WWI, WWII, and Vietnam to
Bush's half assed adventures he was strictly an amateur. iirc, Biden
signed off on them all.
