In looking at paint I've discovered that ICI apparently makes a bunch of
brands: Glidden, CIL Dulux, Fuller O'Brien and probably others. I have
heard good things about Glidden, and the hardware store I deal with likes
Fuller O'Brien (I never heard of them before). They also carry Para paint
which is apparently a different company. Don't know about it. A friend
strongly recommends Benjamin Moore, but another friend had problems with
it, so who knows. Then there's Dutch Boy which I've used outside with good
results, and the same store that carries it also carries the National
brand. I'm baffled. If folks could relate their positive recommendations
with interior paint it might help clear things up some for me. Thanks!

I have used the CTC premier paint, and much to my surprise it has held
up quite well. However, most of my home is now painted using Porter
Paint with Teflon, and I have found it somewhat easier to clean.
Still, I have no complaint about either. Good Luck.

we recently used some mid-grade ben moore paint and it worked pretty well...of
course it has only had to stand up for 3 wks now so I guess that's not a
ringing endorsement...........
after blowing the wad on the BM paint and primer, I went digging on the
Consumer Reports website, and their toprated indoor paint was actually the
"Sear's Best" product, in terms of cost/quality/durability etc. I was kinda
surprised. Of course, that same weekend sears had a big paint sale and we had
no idea!

p.s. anyone else out there have anything to say about Behr's paints? the
local homely despot sells it and I'm wondering if it's worth it.
