I have two oven doors whose color I would like to change from antique gold
to white.

Is there a high gloss high temp. paint that will do this. If so, where can
I get it.

Are there commercial re painters that could do this job better? How would
I locate them?

I assume the door is enameled now. Should we have it professionally
re-enameled? How would I locate someone to do this?

Are there other processes I should consider?

Many thanks.

Most likely the doors have a porcelain finish. Painting won't last. It
will peel or discolor in a short time. Changing the panels is the best
way. Prices for panels can be high, but your oven will look like new.

We bought an avacado kitchen with our old house; removed the door to the
wall oven and had it professionally refinished in white. Was a business
where we dropped off the door and picked up about 4-5 days later. Look in
the yellow pages under "appliances: major: refinishing" or ask at an
appliance repair shop for references.

It's been almost 4 years now and there are no signs of peeling, cracking
or discoloring. We use the oven on the order of 2-3 times/week (usually
350-425 degrees, broiling too). The cost of about $50-$75, if I remember
correctly, was well worth it.

Additionally, look up "electrostatic painting" in the yellow pages index.
