I never heard of this webpage before:

In Response to Gen. Mattis, Trump Tweeted a Letter from John Dowd
Calling Lafayette Square Protestors 'Terrorists'
Matt Naham Jun 4th

President Donald Trump responded on Thursday to his former Secretary of
Defense's rebuke by tweeting a letter from his former lawyer. The letter
said that the protestors who were driven out of Lafayette Square days
ago were "terrorists" and "not real."

Wow, so interesting on so many levels. First, it's very clear from this
reaction that Mattis really hit a nerve with Dowd and he had to just spew
forth anything and everything in an attempt to deny the truth. Somehow
peaceful protesters become hate filled, violent terrorists. And then
Dowd has to throw in the whole "poor widdle Trump" defense, how great he
is, what great things he's done, how badly he's mistreated for no reason
at all. Trump is the
victim, not the peaceful protesters that were gassed and beaten so that
Trump could have his photo op moment. Really stunning the sick derangement
in those around Trump. And who the hell is "Uncle Leon"?

It might be Leon Trotsky.

When you tell little lies, people are suspicious so tell the biggest
lies you can find. If they're big enough, people think they couldn't
possibly be lies. The article is full of them.

as a US Army vet, I assure you I respect an experienced General over a
cowardly draft dodger.

Hope some of the 110 million non-voters get off their butts.

Now that Mattis has spoke up I see others are gaining a tiny bit of courage.

Emphasis on "tiny" but hopefully it will swell. The couple of Repubs
that disagreed with Trump in the past were attacked by him and forced
out. Oppose the leader and you will be bullied.

And after Murkowski spoke out, trump will campaign for a Democrat
against her.

"Sen. Lisa Murkowski: Trump will come to Alaska to campaign against her

In 2010, Lisa Murkowski, R-Alaska, was the second person ever to win a
U.S. Senate election through write-in votes. (Staff/ Getty Images)

As Republican senators scuttled wordlessly into a caucus lunch in
Washington, D.C., this week, just one was willing to comment on the
forceable breakup of protesters so President Trump could wave a Bible
upside down at a photo op in front of St. John's Episcopal Church across
from the White House.

"I do not think that what we saw last night was the America I know,"
said Sen. Lisa Murkowski, R-Alaska.

The "Gentle Lady from Alaska" would, a day later, endorse the scathing
critique of President Trump and the militarization of Washington, D.C.,
delivered by retired Gen. James Mattis, the president's first Secretary
of Defense.

Murkowski was quick to feel the wrath of a Trump tweet. He's coming to
Alaska to campaign against her.

"Get any candidate ready, good or bad, I don't care, I'm endorsing — If
you have a pulse, I'm with you," raged the 45th president, and Trump
raged on:

"Few people know where they'll be in two years from now, but I do, in
the great state of Alaska (which I love) campaigning against Sen. Lisa
Murkowski. She voted against HealthCare, Justice Kavanaugh, and much
else ... "

The schoolyard bully has hurt feelings. She has some balls, I'd vote
for her.
