against her.

As Republican senators scuttled wordlessly into a caucus lunch in
Washington, D.C., this week, just one was willing to comment on the
forceable breakup of protesters so President Trump could wave a Bible
upside down at a photo op in front of St. John's Episcopal Church across
from the White House.
"I do not think that what we saw last night was the America I know,"
said Sen. Lisa Murkowski, R-Alaska.
The "Gentle Lady from Alaska" would, a day later, endorse the scathing
critique of President Trump and the militarization of Washington, D.C.,
delivered by retired Gen. James Mattis, the president's first Secretary
of Defense.
Murkowski was quick to feel the wrath of a Trump tweet. He's coming to
Alaska to campaign against her.
"Get any candidate ready, good or bad, I don't care, I'm endorsing — If
you have a pulse, I'm with you," raged the 45th president, and Trump
raged on:
"Few people know where they'll be in two years from now, but I do, in
the great state of Alaska (which I love) campaigning against Sen. Lisa
Murkowski. She voted against HealthCare, Justice Kavanaugh, and much
else ... "
