Has anyone out there with a spetic system heard of this product by the
company, Krane Products Inc.? Is it worth the money - $149, 20 packets
for a 6 year supply or $109, 10 packets for a 3 year supply or four
installments. Does it work as claimed?

Roger..

I used it. For me, it was a total waste. (Pun my word!)
$7,500.00 later, I have a new septic tank, sump, waste pump and drain
field. All connected with about 300 feet of pipe. The waste field had
to be located uphill from my house because that's the only place
contractor could find drainage within 15 feet of the soil's surface.

Nope, haven't heard of it, but there are gazillions of similar
products. Have yet to hear of one that works better than what
happens naturally from using and flushing your toilet.

If you have a problem with your septic system, none of those
products are the answer. If you're trying to prevent problems,
then treat your septic gently by eliminating, or keeping to a
bare minimum, bleach and products with bleach. Let no fats or
oils go down the drain, they're deadly because they can clog the
leachfield. Don't flush anything down the toilet except your
own waste and toilet paper.

Save your money and pass -- that's my recommendation.

I've been using that for the past few years. They called me up last year and
were interested in having me be a "reference" they could refer to as a
satisfied customer. They asked me how "pleased" I was with the product?

Well, just how do I tell if I'm pleased or not? I can't look inside the
drainfield or inside the tank. I haven't had any problems, so I'm satisfied so
far. But I didn't have any problems before either. I bought it because I
thought the idea of adding these super hungry bacteria to the brew sounded
like a good idea.

It is a waste of money to use these things. Your personal bacteria is
adequate.

Fot 25 years, it's the only product used in our septic. Its 100% work the money.
Used different products in our old home. Way more money 💰 cost a ton to have septic pumped...

Side note. Alway dispose of milk, bread anything with yeast in your septic. That's what helps the most.

For almost 50 years - in 3 homes with septic systems -
- what has always worked for me -
... I add only bodily wastes & TP to the dish soap &
laundry soap bath soap and water softener brine,
and furnace condensate, etc etc and
all the other normal natural things that go down the drain.
... the bodily wastes are free ! go figure.
Pump-out every 5 years or so and inspect.

Can I put SPAM down the drain too? You seem to have a surplus of it.
Practice your typing too.
