I am building a new 2-car garage that will have the garage doors
situated at 90 degrees to the driveway. There will be two 10' wide
doors two feet apart. I would like to get some feedback as to what the
proper turning radius in feet would be and how many feet to allow after
the turn toward the garage doors to make entry and exiting the garage
easier. I do not have infintite space or money for concrete, but I do
have some space to work with.

I just want to have plenty of room to get my full sized extended cab
truck in and out of the garage without too many hassles :-)

All ideas would be greatly appreciated!

Normal design for driveway would be optimum distance for turning radius
of 28-30 feet, can go as low as 25 feet and make turn in majority of
vehicles

I would not rely on formulas or rules of thumb. Instead, why not stake
out the garage and do some trial drives through the dirt until you are
happy with the size?

Also, have the person who drives the worst do the driving, unless you
are willing to go park the truck for them every day. (I personally
don't like it when things look/feel small, no matter how big the the
actual entrance is!)
