Hi folks,

I bought a Trim-Rite chipper shredder a couple years ago. The manual say's
it's an electric Lawnmaster Trim-Rite Chipper Shredder. Model 1600-2.2
I've been trying unsuccessfully to find some replacement blades or knives
for this machine. Does anyone know where I might find replacement blades?
The blades are shaped like a rhombus sharpened on each side..
roughly 1 1/2 in. x 3/4 in. I've had no luck so far finding identical
blades. The
phone number to Trim-Rite in weatherford is no longer in service. I'd
appreciate anyone who has some info of where I might find these. Thanks.

Harbor Freight Model 66910 CHIPPER SHREDDER
SKU# 12181 - 66910 CHIPPER BLADE 1 PK @ $5.99

These blades are the same size physically as the

original Lawnmaster except the mounting holes are of

a larger diameter the hole spacing is the same.

I purchased 4 new 6mm x 12mm screws an 4 new 7mm

flat washers to bush up the original screw head size.

Using one of the old flat head screws in the new flat

washer press the screw head's taper into the flat

washer to flare it into a conical fit in the new blade,

attach the new screws and flared washers to the new

blade and tighten securely.

Description : Blade 1 pk for #66910 chipper shredder

Sku 12181-0ZZA
Qty 1
Price $5.99

The March 01, 2000 guy gave up in about 2002, and
threw out the chipper shredder. Wish you'd posted
this thirteen years ago.

This could be a useful tip to someone in the future. I'd give the guy some slack
on this one.
It certainly would have been accepted as useful without the quate from the past.

Hi Paul, I just purchased one of these and the info from gunga should help mee find replacement blades too. By any chance, could I get a copy of that user manual. Mine did not have one. Thanks, Mike.

By now Paul is no longer in service. He fell into the chipper shredder
and was turned into dog food! Local dogs enjoyed the meal!

Great news! It’s 2019 and I went looking for this info. I’m happy it was still on the board.
