Anyone have any miracle remedies for removing the black
stain that seems to be un-removable from our shower floor?
The material, as far as I can tell, is fiberglass but may be some
other kind of plastic. I've tried a bathroom cleaners from "scrubbing
bubbles" to those with bleach or acids..........all to no avail. I've even
tried using full strength bleach, but no luck!
Helllppppp!
Thanks, Paul

For what it's worth, I too have a fiberglass shower base, and also
have a dark stain on it. I discovered this method purely by accident.
We have one of those liquid soap/shampoo dispensers on the wall. The
button/valve for the shower gel got stuck and dripped for a couple of
days while we were away. When I got home I found the puddle of shower
gel leading to the drain. I rinsed off the gel with my shower massage,
and to my surprise, crystal clean fiberglass underneath. I bought
another bottle of shower gel, and spread it liberally on the shower
floor, let it stand 24 hours, and rinsed it clean. No scrubbing at
all.
