Hi All,

Flip Flop Fauci throws out the first pitch
at Nationals-Yankees game.

https://twitter.com/espn/status/1286439883226193923

Could not help to notice he threw wildly to the Left.

Oh! And here he is wearing a mask and Social Distancing:

If he were a southpaw, he would have thrown wildly to the right.

What defect in your pathetic excuse for a brain makes you criticize
a 79-year-old man's pitching skills?

And it was funny, despite his age and the

Plus, seems you have never thrown a baseball. Wild

I have not thrown a baseball in a long time but if I were chosen to
throw the opening pitch I would have practiced and looked nowhere as
silly as he did.

He should have also been aware that optics are important and kept up his
mask in the stands. Claims he was dehydrated and had to drink water but
pictures do not show it.

I bet he doesn't drink water by holding a bottle up to his lips with

That wasn't hate. That was pure exasperation.

It's been a good 40 years since I threw a baseball, probably more. I
never was any good at it, which is why I have so much sympathy for
Fauci. Nowadays my best pitch would plop down in the middle of the
infield somewhere between the mound and home plate.

It's sad the owners ever let this get out of hand. It should have been
nipped in the bud, based on a simple principle that I would think most
reasonable people could support. Sporting events should not be politicized.
If you want to make a political statement, for whatever it is you think is
important, then do it outside the arena, on your own. And if you can't
accept that, your FIRED. End of story.

What would you say if those "few seconds" were some players waving around
Trump MAGA flags or otherwise showing support for Trump? And what those
assholes are doing is far worse, they are disrespecting the flag. Most
of them are black, disrespecting the flag of the country that is so awfully
racist, so against them, yet somehow they are extremely successful,
earning tens of millions of dollars, far more than the allegedly racist
audiences watching them. Screw them. I'll put you down as one of the
unreasonable people who don't get it. When they start representing for
Trump or similar, well then, it will be a totally different story.
That's how libs work. This is simple. Take your politics and your issues
someplace else. The problem is the owners have no balls, they're afraid.

Antifaschistische Aktion started in Pre-Nazi Germany as
an answer to Hitler's Brown Shirts. Which came first,
I do not know.

And there was not wit worth of difference between two,
except how was at the top of the power structure.
What Antifaschistische Aktion actually objected to
was the "competition". The "anti-fascist" part was
just name calling. Mussolini and Lenin were good
friends and admirers of each other.

Also, keep in mind that both Nazis and Fascists follow
the teaching of Carl Marx, as well as communists,
and sadly more and more Democrats.

“National socialism derives from each of two camps
the pure idea that characterises it: National
resolution from bourgeois tradition; vital,
creative socialism from the teaching of Marxism.”
--Hitler [January, 1934] Schoenbaum, p.57

And that the "national" in "National Socialism" is
not "nationalism". It is "national conformity".

Gleichschaltung – the restructuring of German society
and government into streamlined, centralized hierarchies
of power, with the intention of gaining total control
and co-ordination of all aspects of society. Duke
University’s notable historian, Claudia Koonz, described
the institutionalized Gleichschaltung of the National
Socialist government as comprehensive in scope and
depth. For the Nazis, Gleichschaltung meant absolute
unequivocal conformity and obedience. Such uniform
programming of thought was part propaganda induced,
partly the result of the Gestapo enforcement mechanism,
and part social pressure from every direction; it was
of paramount importance to act uniformly if one wanted
to remain a member of the Volksgenossen.

This is especially chilling as the Left is now trying
to force Gleichschaltung down all our throats with
"Woke" and "cancel culture". "Absolute unequivocal
conformity and obedience". We see this with American
Pravda on a daily basis filtering everything through
Gleichschaltung. Differing thoughts and ideas are
not allowed.

“Every record has been destroyed or falsified, every
book rewritten, every picture has been repainted,
every statue and street building has been renamed,
every date has been altered. And the process is
continuing day by day and minute by minute. History
has stopped. Nothing exists except an endless present
in which the Party is always right.”
― George Orwell, 1984

These Fascists have not stopped at statues of Confederates.
They are trying to erase our history and our heritage and
replace it with their own twisted narrative.

The current revival of Antifaschistische Aktion is
very much Fascists as it is in lock step with
Giovanni Gentile teachings, who was also a Marxist.
And they wear the same black shirts and ACT THE SAME
as did Mussolini's Black Shirts.

When will be all wake up and realize we are at war?

Do they play the national anthem at any of those events?

Perhaps the solution is to stop playing the Star Spangled Banner at
sporting events.

Leaving aside the venue (if we can), dissing the flag is political
speech, protected by the First Amendment.

If you can't diss the flag as a protest, then the flag itself is
a hollow symbol of nothing whatsoever.

You think you got a point, run for office.

And who has duped Trump, you and the Trumpets? Putin and who all else?
It's a really sad day in America when kooks believe crazy conspiracy
theories and that health authorities have been duped by libs. Following
that logic, then all health authorities the world over have been duped
by libs in a grand conspiracy to screw Trump. Reality is, they are just
trying to do the right things, save lives and Trump is the one that is
royally screwing up.

Swamp dweller: Anyone who tells the truth and who won't lie for Trump.
It's a very clever shystering trick that Trump has come up with. Part of
the poor widdle Trump defense. It's not that Trump is an unfit moron,
who's screwing up right before our eyes. No, it's that Trump is great and
there is some mysterious alleged swamp that's out to get him.

He is just trying to go with the flow.

Says who? It clearly is an insult. IT's sad that there are people like
you. I put forth what is clearly right, what is clearly a way to avoid
politicizing one of the last places where America has not been politicized
and bitterly divided. That is to keep politics out of sports. It's not
hard, just take your politics somewhere else. You'd think reasonable
Americans could agree on that. But you're not reasonable, you want to
turn American sports into another nasty, divisive shit show. In that
respect, you're just as bad as Trump, just as piggish, just as partisan
and just as stupid. You're intent on even screwing American sports,
making that a partisan divide, then you can't understand why people say
people like you hate America.

He had made mistakes like anyone might. Certainly a swamp dweller but
we do need some experienced bureaucrats.

His problem now is stepping out from being a scientist into the
political realm where he is a novice.

I love those politicians like Biden that say we should be led in the
virus crisis by scientists. The scientist might say that if everyone in
the country isolated for 2 weeks the virus would disappear. Probably
would and at that point we would probably be a third world economy.

Or course it is, stupid. And I notice you didn't address that if some
Black Lies Matter advocates can have their moments at sports events,
then why not everyone? Of course when pro-Trump advocates start wearing
MAGA hats and waving them around to show their support for that or
some anti-abortion advocates do their stunt, well then it will be a
whole different story.

I gave you the reasonable solution. Just keep politics out of sporting
events. You'd think reasonable Americans could agree on that. Even
North and South Korea agree on the DMZ. Those that can't are just as
much a part of our problems today as Trump. Oh, and where are your lib
friends, Pelosi, Schumer, all those lib Democrat governors on quelling
the riots and property destruction? Funny, eh? Big mouths all the time,
but silence on this. If they were looking out for America they would
tell those protesters to go home. That they have had their say for two
months, enough is enough. What they are doing now is just hurting the
cities and the people they live in. Hurting the businesses, destroying
property, consuming resources that could be used to help people and
spreading Covid. They should appeal to them to end it or at least to
stop the violence and stop disrupting these cities every night. Any
sympathy I had after the George Floyd incident is long gone. These are
now just anarchist scum and your party is encouraging them, instead of
standing up for the 99% of the public that they are screwing.

+1

The BLM bunch got attention, got their message across two months ago.
Any sympathy I had toward them has now been undone by this continual
rioting, violence, vandalism. Screw them. Most of that movement has
been based on lies, it started with the Michael Brown lie. He was
supposed to be just a black teen on his way home who a cop shot in
the back. After all the riots, after all the lies, after full investigations
by the state and Obama's DOJ, we find out that he had robbed a convenience
store, then when a cop called him over to his car, he reached inside,
grabbed the cop's gun and tried to kill him with it. The gun went off
inside the car, injuring Brown, forensics proved it. From there it wound
up with Brown dead. A good thing, it likely saved other lives. That is
where the Black Lies Matter movement started.

No, the solution is very obvious. Leave your politics, your causes,
out of sports. Do you have an employer? What would they do if you
brought your politics to work and threw it into the face of their
customers? The team owners just have no balls. They should have adopted
this fair, simple policy for the leagues and fired those that won't
comply. See how much they value their paycheck over their politics.
Instead they were cowered into submission by the new political correctness.
It's BS like this that got Trump elected and may yet see him re-elected.

What evidence do you have that George Floyd was treated badly because of
his race? None. The whole Black Lies Matter movement started with
a huge lie, the Michael Brown case. That scum tried to kill the cop!
He tried to shoot him! Two full investigations, by the state and by
Obama's DOJ established that. George Floyd, he's been treating like
he's a hero, a great man, a Mother Theresa. He's another scum,
multiple felony convictions, including a home invasion where he and
his crew busted into a woman's home, pistol whipped her, robbed her.
And the lib media run with the story of how he was "trying to turn his
life around". Really? How? By moving from home invasion to passing
counterfeit money?

Sure, blacks have some bad outcomes with police. So do white and
hispanics. Blacks commit more crimes, flee more, fight with cops more,
so they have a higher incident rate than those other races. MAybe
they should straighten out and fly right instead of looking for
excuses? Where are the BLM marches in cities like Chicago, Detroit
and Baltimore, demanding that blacks stop killing blacks? How
many blacks die that way each weekend? But woaaah, some scum like
Michael Brown gets himself killed by trying to kill a cop, then
BLM shows up and tries to blame it on whites. There is your racism.

When you're right, you're right. And in this case I agree with you 100%.
This should have ended by the owners of all sports teams agreeing

Melania may stick around longer than April, but I'd take odds that she's gone

Trump's words? Then 95%+ it's just another one of his endless lies.
And when did this revelation occur? He cheated on Ivana, he cheated
on Melania, he was cheating for decades, still cheating up until the
time he ran for president. He may very well be cheating right now.
If he stopped, it's because now that he's president, with all the eyes
on him, it would be virtually impossible to get away with.

How convenient. Now Trump says it should not be allowed. Yeah, I have
no issue with legal immigration, I support immigration. Shut it down!

His inlaws don't respect America and don't want to be part of it?
Or are they the only inlaws that respect America, some black or Indian
immigrants, their inlaws don't?

> Illegals break our laws and disrespect us. They need
> to go home and do it the right way or never come back.

This isn't about illegals, it's about Trump insisting that he wants
to shut out the legal path by which his own inlaws came to America.
Oh and when did Trump first bring this up? Right after he reneged
on his immigration reform deal with Schumer. Trump added this to his
list of demands, ending immigrants being able to bring in other family
members. And even a moron like Trump must have known that this would
destroy any chance for immigration reform. So here we are. Instead of
reform, we have a nasty, divisive issue that Trump thinks will help him.

>

We're talking about LEGAL immigration, you know, the same thing TRUMP's
inlaws did.

After months of mocking masks, Trump the other day finally said people
should wear them. I suppose that makes Trump part of your alleged swamp?
After insisting that schools had to re-open, threatening to cut off funding
for schools that would not, Trump suddenly flips and says it's up to the
schools. After claiming that Covid was behind us, over, just some embers
left that will be quickly dealt with and put out, Trump flips and says that
it's serious, that it's going to get worse before it gets better. And that
was all in less than a week! And after that, yesterday he's back to ranting
that more states need to re-open, ignoring that states like FL that listened
to him on that are a disaster. Trump is a big shit show in a dumpster fire.

then going into a tirade about politics. How would you handle that?

Not sure who the other person was but the woman is his wife. Would you
stay 6 feet away from your wife? The three were seated far from anyone
else so there little group was distanced properly.

Meantime, his baseball card is the best selling in history.

I wonder if Biden would be interested in a government run by technical

I am, as you might suppose, completely unintereseted in sports. But I
was pondering this morning whether they play the national anthem at
horse races and boxing matches, or whether it's only played at sports
that have a veneer of family entertainment.

"Trump appears to have made up a story about the New York Yankees
inviting him to throw out the ceremonial first pitch at their game on
Aug. 15. He was envious that Dr. Anthony Fauci threw out the first pitch
at the Washington Nationals’ opening game. The White House later said
that Trump was too busy on Aug. 15 to attend the Yankees game."

The simple, logical correct thing to do with this was for the leagues
to ban all of it. That's workable, simple, fair. So, now who decides
what should be allowed and what should not? I hope some players
decide to do a pro-Trump stunt and see what the libs and the leagues
have to say about that. I guarantee there will be a whole different
reaction and the libs won't be saying it's all great, it's free
speeech, etc.

No no it would not. Plenty of the infected stay infectious for longer
than that most obviously with the ones with very severe symptoms.

> and at that point we would probably be a third world economy.

That's mad. There is no way that a modern first world economy
would become a third world economy in just two weeks of everyone
staying home, particularly with enough notice to ensure that no one
starves. You can't starve in 2 weeks anyway.

Right. He should make a direct appeal to people in their 20's and teens
and 30's to tell them to wear the masks all the time, so they won't get
sick and kill their parents and grandparents as well as leaving
themselves with blood clots, somethig similar to Kawasaki syndrome, and
who knows what else.

Something that can be broadcast and shown separately instead of just
half a sentence in the middle of a boring paragraph. And where are the
other Republicans who could at least try to talk him into this?

He could even say that he made a mistake up to now and they shoudln't
make the same mistake, but of course he never admits to a mistake.

Instead he made one little remark that he can cite later to claim he
hasn't been stupid even though he has been.

Twice in the last few years I've been to the Firecracker Hamfest, in
Harrisburg, Pa. on July 4 It's a t ypical hamfest (used equipment and
parts sale, ham radio license exam, etc.) but around 10 they actually
march out a color guard with a US and some other flag and they play
something, the national anthem or reveille. No one kneels.

They didn't have it this year. I go as much for the drive home as for
what little I buy, and I've taken the 2 or 3 interesting routes home
now. I hope they start up again but there have been closer ones so not
sure if I'll go again.
