My husband caulked the entire bathroom with silicone caulk, all along the
top of the baseboards and along the ceilings...We are trying to paint our
bathroom, how can we paint over it? Will latex base caulk adhere to it?
Thanks in advance

Paint will not adhere to standard silicone bathtub caulk. Paint WILL
adhere to paintable silicone caulk. If the caulk is paintable then it
will generally turn yellow in a very short time -- a week or three.

Extend your arm, open the palm of your hand, and swing it towards the back of
his head until contact <g>.

It would be best to remove as much of the silicone as possible and start over
with a paintable caulk (which is almost anything but silicone sealant).

For small areas, another thing that may work is painting with plastic
model paint.

Once silicone has been installed you must stay with silicone as it is very
difficult to remove all of the silicone oils. Acrylic Latex made for
bathroom use would have been the choice for painting originally. I don't
know of any way to get paint to stick to silicone.
