Well , looking at your link I'd say the transplanter is the one with the
measurements marked on it ...

Trowel is the one on the left, transplanter is on the right and a
weedier is in the middle. The transplanter is for scooping soil out
for placing a plant in the soil. No reason you can't use a trowel to
scoop soil out, I thought you knew all that.

Here's another example - the text tells you which is which ;
I wouldn't be surprised if they came from the same factory in China.
.. spend $ 40 and get free shipping until Feb. 21

This was sort of my point. They've created a whole new tool, because
everyone who wants one has a trowel. So now they're trying to convince
people they need a narrower one.

Hey, that's good. I guess you really do need two different tools,
because they say so too.

Oh, I feel so incompetent and unprepared. But they just call it a
narrow trowel, not a transplanter!

I must admit that when I was being careful with sod, it was hard to cut,
though I managed with a big knife. Maybe I should have used a big
serrated kitchen knife. Later I just put the sod down on whatever was
already there, and it did just as well, although I'm not saying that
would work everywhere. .

Those look weird. I'd be afraid to leave them in the garden shed while
I was sleeping. One might take over my body.

Easy there trader, you are thinking of transporter. Unless you see Spock in
your garden I'd sleep easy.

Spring must be just around the corner with all the garden stuff... Yeah.
