I'm looking to replace about 20 Armstrong ceiling tiles, 12" x 12". The
model # is 260. I've recently discovered after contacting Armstrong that
this model was discontinued several years ago. Any ideas where I could get
my hands on some of these tiles?

IMHO

Save your self a lot of time and effort and replace them all. I spent several
weeks looking for discontinued ceiling tiles for a job where the customer did
not want to go the cost of complete replacement. She eventually had to go for
complete replacement because even after finding the tiles the color did not
match (new bright, old somewhat soiled).

PS She had to pay for the tiles I found as well as the new ones.

Note that you *CAN* paint these things with a bright white latex paint.
The somewhat chalky surface absorbs the paint right up and turns it a
cheery white again.
