Also - what's the correct way to apply floor wax? It seems whenever I apply
some - after it dries - I can see streaks when the light hits certain areas.
I generally use a sponge - apply it by hand.
Thanks in advance -
Mike
You do not have a commercial or true VCT tile. Meaning one that would
normally require stripping and waxing. You have, over the years used
various products to 'clean and polish' the floor. You have never stripped
the floor and finished it.
If all this is true then I would advise you to get three products sold by
Armstrong. New Beginnings is a residential floor stripped. Shine Keeper
is a residential floor refinisher. And Once N Done is a residential floor
cleaner. Follow the directions and your floor should look much better.
Not new but better.
Before anyone sends me nasty notes. I know that there are other products
that will do the same. My reason for mentioning Armstrong is that it's the
easiest to find.

I am not sure what you mean by "a commercial or true VCT tile."
I seriously doubt that my floor would need stripping and waxing, but I
would certainly like to see it a bit more shiny than it is now. The
Armstrong products that you mentioned - Are they for floors that do NOT
need to be stripped and waxed?
I am quite confused.

I apologize. It _wasn't_ clear to me.
Where are the FAQs for this ng located? I was unable to find them. Is
this a ng for pro cleaners? If it is, then I apologize for asking my
question here. I am not a pro. Just a housewife interested in learning
more.
