Any ideas on how to clean a hammock? It has wooden bars attached to each end
which prevents me from washing it in the machine. Thanks!

Hand wash it in a wash tub or bucket outside, rinse well and hang up to dry.

Stick the hammock in your bathtub. SPray it with the shower attachment and
scrub with a brush. Then let soak for awhile. Hang outside in the sun.

I put mine on the patio (could use an outside table) and washed it with a
scrub brush, rinsed it with a hose and hung it on the line. Worked great -
actually returned to it's natural cover after years on not being washed.

Mix a splash of laundry soap and warm water in a garden pump
sprayer, or sprinkling can. Pour on. Rub with scrub bush. Rinse
with garden hose.

I've never done this, but it makes sense to me.

I am amazed how Tide can be used for many jobs, including cleaning a
hammock. And because we trust laundry soap with fabrics, it is safe
and effective choice. I have used Tide to hand wash expensive
rugs--no brush--just massage with the fingers, and thorough rinses
with a garden hose. Be sure to dry your hammock in a sunny breeze
to prevent mold/mildew.
