"Buttered" popcorn DOES enhance the experience.
Of course there hasn't been ACTUAL butter since
I was a widdle kiddie - a LONG time ago. Now it's
just Veggie Oil Plus Synthetic "Butter" Flavor.
A "long time ago" is when the balcony was for
"black" people, so the regular good citizens
wouldn't have to notice them .... really .....
Actual butter was probably better for you.
I remember them putting sticks of it into
a melter-thing.
But, in any case, Brit tastes ARE different.
Surprised there aren't kippers as a side
to the popcorn :-)
Hmmm ... maybe 'crisps' - but done extra-crispy ?
Not sure they'd last long enough though, and might
go cold/greasy too soon. Popcorn really goes the
best with films .....
