Independence Day racing was great! We celebrated with 3 feature
races. The Hot Dog 100 street stock race for plastic chassis cars
went very smoothly. Boss Lady Adele scored her first feature win in a
race that saw the top 3 spots separated by only one lap each. The
Grapefruit 100 saw our first full field of Superstox. Steve won over
Conlin by 5 laps. Places 2,3, and 4 were only separated by a total of
3 laps. The Firecracker 100 was hotly contested with Steve and Larry
both turning 101 laps. places 3 - 5 were separated by only 3 laps.
It was a great day of close racing on the flat oval.
