But assuming the recordings and other info wasn't lost, the
future colonists would know far more about the 18th-21st
centuries then we know about the Middle Ages / Renaissance,
so the accuracy would be quite good, thou I suppose there
would be the inevitable errors;

"The Beatniks are my favorite Atomic Age minstrel combo!"

Various music themed events, because hanging out and
listening to reenactments of historical minstrel combos while
consuming period style fermented alcoholic beverages, is
easy and fun.

Military reenactments would be harder to do, as the period
is fully into firearm weapons, so there wouldn't be much to
see (target shooting competitions aren't particularly interesting
for the non-shooters).

But attendees could still dress up as their favorite historical
military force, thus Desert Storm types mingling with Nazis,
side-by-side with Civil War and Napoleonic soldiers and
the odd lesser know conflicts;

"I was reenacting the Gran Chaco War before it was cool."

No. The information would be there, but most people probably wouldn't
use it.

Consider what people today think they know about the past. England never
had a written constitution; the New England Puritans almost never had
premarital sex; people in [decade of the 20th Century] ate healthfully....

Myths believed by various groups among the American population include:
In the Middle Ages, all Europeans were good Roman Catholics. The 1950s
was an era of bipartisan politics. Slavery had absolutely nothing to do
with secession.

Or perhaps consuming genuine 19th century Canadian-style marijuana?

Every time I see something portrayed on (usually Merkin) TV as a
"Renaissance Fair", everybody is dressed up as and performs activities
from the Middle Ages, several hundred years too early!
