Hi. This weekend, I'll be attending a show set in a colonial 20s Shanghai
cabaret. There will be period entertainment and drinks (absinthe and tea
bars) before and after the show, and the group putting on the show has asked
that guests try to wear something keeping in spirit with the period, which
is, in itself, kind of broad and a hidge-podge, so the bar is pretty low.
That said, I'd like to give it a go. Any suggestions for cheap and easy
ways to throw together something that seems like 20s-era American or British
semi-formalwear?

Thanks!

You don't say which sex you are, but assuming a man...

A double breasted suit and a fedora.

Medina Sidonia how many Spanish sword and buckler men he could beat
single handed with a quarterstaff.
