The first bong I ever had was given to me by a very good friend of mine.
He came over one night and gave it to me. I took it from him and poured
cold Pink Lemonade - Snapple into it. We smoked out of it for a while,
and then I named my bong SNAPPLE!

Try it sometime.

Any flavor you like.

Try some beer or whiskey then drink it afterwards. I had a friend who did
milk in his.

Bad idea, the whole point of having water in a bong is so that it
filters out the nasty carcinogens and lets the THC molecules pass
thru'

If you use an alcohol based liquid it will absorb the THC molecules
hence making the bong less efficient. (i.e it won't filter the
carcinogens and it will absorb THC)

The only true liquid to use is water (and preferably warm water)

This has been a public service announcement on behalf of
the Bong Education Council.

Why warm water? Snow bong hits are great in my opinon.

Sorry to disappoint you, guys, but it's been reported that water filtration
does not reduce cancirogenic content. I've heard that from Dr. John Morgan, a
prominent reform activist, and have no reason to doubt the credibility of the
scientific study.
BTW, the THC content is reduced by 10% when you use a bong.

Did you know that Snapple gives about ten cents of every purchase to an
anti-legalization organization?

Curses ;-)

It may have been reported, but is it true ? ....Are there other
studies that say different ?

The Bong Education Council need to know.

Whenever burn pot it ruduces the canboids, only by haveing it smoke at
sub flamibale tempatures you will get all the thc. Well most people just
use a water pipe for smothness, most pot smokers smoke anyways and
really dont care about their lives.

Yeah but you get such a big hit off a bong. With relly good herb I can
afford to miss the 10%.

I like to put a tea bag in my bong, and after about 20 hits, it's time to
drink the tea... Warm it up first, though.

Yeah, but who can afford to miss the extra smoke that is generally lost
through a bong? When I'm down to the last few bowls, I always end up
using a pipe only (with a chamber on, of course<g>). Joints and bongs
just waste it, which you can a lot about once you're into your dregs.

Read in High Times that a couple drops of H2O on a bowl helps
keep the temp just right for evaporating the THC off the pot w/out burning
it. All that's left is dead leaf matter...

: If I'm not mistaken though, from personal exp and that of others, joints are the best for buzz
: "depth," as well as the quickest onset. Perhaps it's because you're "forced" to smoke so much so
: quickly, and no chemicals are lost, like are lost on a bong's water and cylinder, or a bowl's
: interior. Joints just get stronger and stronger after each toke because the increasingly smaller
: roach has even more THC in it than it did a second ago.

Well, I think joints are wasteful. First of all, you have to use
much more pot in a joint to smoke say 3 people, than in a bong. Second of
all, they smoke like crazy if you roll a big cone! You may get more, but
the second you finish taking a heave, CLOUDS of smoke come off the thing.
If you could capture it, it would be efficient, but it's not. My personal
favorite device is the bong. My friend made a wicked bong, and then one
day the screen broke, so we had to fix it. We made a makeshift screen and
shoved it into the bottom of the bowl and found out that made it SUPER
POWERFUL! (the bong's name is ARNIE! :). We smoked a gram in 3 tokes
between 3 people (it's a big bowl. 2 g capacity) and we got hit in the
head so fucking hard. I've NEVER seen my eyes that red before. (including
after the legendary 1-foot j, "Mt. Cannabis" (named after the huge pile
of weed on the table while rolling)).

If you put the bong in the fridge for a couple of hours with the
water in it, THEN add ice, that works better. :)
