Hello AHR,
I have not posted in many years but I hope I will be welcomed back. While
treating my SIL I noticed a grey area in her forehead, I ReiKied that spot
longer, of course. How do you handle something like this? I kept my hands on
that area longer and assumed it was meant for her third eye. She is quite
psychic and also has a tendency of Bi-polar. How would you interpret a sign
like this.

Cathy, I wouldn't attempt to interpret it. Just do Reiki, be Reiki.

Thank you Garry,
I hope you don't mind a second question ...... My SIL said she felt like her
breath was being taken away and I saw how fast and deep she was breathing.
She mentioned it to me and I had no explanation except that ReiKi was
obviously working on her lungs, do you have any advice as to how I could
explain this feeling to others if it happens again. I don't want people to
be afraid if this happens again and since I deal with a lot of people with
anxiety (I have a support group for anxiety) I want them to feel
comfortable, this feeling would cause them to be frightened. Any input or
advice?
Love
Cathy

Cathy, I would only suggest to them that they are receiving exactly
what they need at that moment from Reiki and to simply trust in the
process (if I had to guess, although I prefer not to be held to it, I
would say that your SIL was probably releasing some stored fear during
the session you mentioned above). Tell the client simply to let you
know if it becomes too uncomfortable for them, then you can stop until
they feel ready to go on. Or if they prefer, you can work on a
different part of their body and then come back, or just skip the
position that precipitated the fast breathing. The main thing is to
reassure the client that they are in charge and in control of the
process and that you will work at the rate they are comfortable with.

Of course, this assumes that the reaction that the person is having is
emotionally based, and not some life-threatening physical issue that
requires immediate medical attention.

Hope that helps!

Love and Light,

Garry

P.S. Glad to see you posting again!

Hi Garry,
Thank you again, my SIL started to breathe very fast as soon as I started.
She also felt as if something was being pulled from one side of her head
right before the rapid breathing started. I told her the energy was doing
what needed to be done. Next time this happens I will definately tell the
person we can stop and rest if it gets uncomfortable ..... thank you for
that tip.
Love
Cathy
