Good morning Froggie and all. A beautiful start here too but not yet as
warm as Scarborough at 7 C (45 F), 79% RH and a SL pressure of 1017 mbar.

Thank you and similar wishes to yourself.
No plans here yet but we don't normally venture far on bank holidays,
especially when the weather is good as everywhere is too busy. I bet
there'll be a few visitors to your area today. :)
Have a good day all.

The tourist areas are avoided here too so I understand your thinking :-)
I dare say the front will be busy as will the town.

We're at 17C here. With a totally blue sky and no breeze.
Summer clothes today, I think ;-)

Good morning Froggie - We have seafog so no sunshine here at the moment.
Temperature is only 6°C (43°F) with a ENE wind at 2 mph. Forecast this fog
may linger most of the day keeping the temperatures down.

A w&s day - after the visit of my daughter and grandson yesterday - perhaps
my son may visit today , I must repeat may!! My daughter eventually arrived
back home at 10.30 p.m. due to routine railwork, but it does not worry her.

I hope you have good weather all day.

Good morning Bri - not so warm here as we have seafog which they say may
linger most of the day.
We had a lovely day yesterday and it was a nice surprise my daughter and
grandson arriving.
A w&s day today I doubt any more visits today, though occasionally my son
has put in an appearance.

Have a lovely day.

Good morning Froggie, a cloudy but mild start to the day here with the
temperature already up to 53.4F (11.9C). The lowest overnight
temperature was 49.8F (9.9C). the RH is 81%, pressure 1024 millibars and
the wind is from the SW at 7 mph. It should brighten up and give some
sunshine later on.

I hope you haven't any discomfort today after all your horticultural
efforts yesterday?

Have a good day yourself. :-)

Good morning Bri, although it is overcast it is mild at 12.0C and we're
promised more sun later in the day.

Although it isn't a bank holiday here we have some visitors from South
of the Border as there were two touring vans and two large tents pitched
in our local caravan park yesterday - so begins another tourist season.
It's late starting this year because of the very cold Easter. Like you,
I prefer to stay at home during busy times.

I hope you have a lovely day and enjoy that good weather. :-)

better today.

I hope you have a lovely day despite the weather. :-)

bad planning.

Commonsense tells me it's a great start, Bernadette, but I still can't
feel the temp: after my bleeding brain :-(
I'm getting somewhere because I can feel extremes of cold but everything
else feels comfortable to me.
When I said about summer clothes I really did mean Ray - he's bound to
choose a short-sleeved summer shirt and his shorts today ;-) I'm in the
same weight clothes I wore all last year no matter what the season .. LOL

We're at 17.1C here now and it's got some hazy cloud up there suddenly

How unusual! Mornin' from a dry, warm, bright and shiny South
Yorkshire. BYT and Walter here with no sign of a gft or wft anywhere
right now. Air temperature out there is 13.6ºC (56.5ºF), barometric
pressure falling at 1020 mB and relative humidity 67%. WW reckoned that
½ hour ago it was 12.ºC, 1020.3 mB and 61% respectively in Sheffield.
Forecast is for sunny with no chance of any falling wet stuff all day
with temperature to peak at 18.3ºC (64.9ºF) by late afternoon and to
drop back a little to 17.8ºC (64.0ºF) by tea time.
Have a super day one and all, Don't forget to apply your lashings of
the multi-factor sun cream either if venturing out in our wonderful
weather. Don't want you getting all red raw on a Bank Holiday now, do
we? ;)

Good morning Bernadette - That seafog seems to be burning off quite quickly
so I think it may be a good day here after all. I will be meeting Joan again
and going out after lunch, it should have made up its minds by then.

Good morning FN - Thankfully the seafog seems to be clearing from here quite
quickly so should be a nice day
it sounds as though your weather is being good to you. As to the suntan
lotion I have not applied any just yet but I have got a slight tan already -
I sometimes call it rust!
