Good morning Froggie and all.

A sunny start at 11C (52F) with SW wind at 6 mph. Our temperature looks
good I hope it stays like that it really did turn cloudy and chilly
yesterday.

Enjoy your day.

Good morning Bri - The sun is here and I do hope it stays it did not
yesterday the wind picked-up and it got really cold. We had a lovely sunset
though last evening with a really red sky so hope the proverb is right with
the red sky at night. Fingers crossed the sun does come out for you.

Good morning Froggie, a dry and bright day is forecast alog the coast
but showery inland. It is warm with the temperature already at 54.9F
(12.7C), RH 66% and pressure 1929 millibars. Today we have a West wind
averaging 17 mph so another gusty day.

Good morning Jackie, it looks as though it'll be a sunny day here
although the wind is quite strong. It is already up to 12.7C here so is
nice in the garden in sheltered places. Inland and West of here is
forecast to be cloudy with showers.

I hope Joan feels somewhat better today, did they tell her at the
hospital to stop drinking orange juice, do you know?

Have a lovely day and enjoy that sunshine. :-)

Good morning Bri, it is nice and sunny here so far and we seem to have
the best of the local weather today.

I was pleased all went well with your baby sitting last night. We
belonged to a baby sitting circle when the boys were small and I was
always shattered the following day after a late night so hope you have a
really relaxed day.

No plans here yet other than the obligatory walk, lol. It will be later
today as high tide is around noon.

Enjoy your day and I hope the cloud clears soon. :-)

Good afternoon Bernadette, we have had a fair amount of sunshine today but

Good evening Jackie, it was quite windy on the beach but lovely for
walking although it had clouded up from this morning. Today we walked
across the dunes to Silverburn and back rather than on the beach.

Joan sounds a real character even if she is stubborn and it sounds as
though you both enjoyed that gentle walk.

It looks like a busy month with preparations. I have a friend, plus
husband, visiting on the 29th while over here from West Virginia so I'm
looking forward to that very much. They're touring Scotland for a couple
of weeks and will stop off here on their way to Edinburgh to get a
flight home. I believe you'll be holidaying then too but in the opposite
direction from them. :-)

Good evening Bri, that sounds like a normals evening for babysitters! I
think it's because the little ones get excited because it's somebody
different staying with them so it's harder for them to settle. I can
just picture the living room after being "arranged", lol.

Tomorrow is going to be mixed here although we get the best of it on the
coast, inland will get rain and hill fog while it clears any showers
here. It is *very* unusual to have a dry and sunny bank holiday, as it
isn't one in Scotland most people will be at work anyway.

Enjoy the rest of your evening and I reckon you'll sleep very well
tonight. :)

Good evening FN.
After a sunny start we had quite a cloudy day which felt very humid. The
wind was quite strong until late afternoon but was a warm wind from the
West. Our highest temperature was 17.9C (64.2F) and it is still at 13.4

Good evening Bernadette - It did stay a good sunny day but the wind was very
strong and blustery in one direction. Joan and I were walking back along the
seafront when I suddenly looked-up and there in front of me was my youngest
daughter and my grandson David walking towards us. They had turned-up
without my knowledge and guessed where I would be so came to look for me!! I
had mentioned to her on the phone one day that my wooden garden table had
broken (wood rotted) so she came armed with wood, saw, screws and nails to
fix it! so like her Dad who was always ready to fix a job! she set too as
soon as we got to my home and mended the table then after a welcome `cuppa`
we all set off up the f&c shop for our lunch. She and David left about
7.30 - they were working on the railway so they had to catch the railbus to
take her into Hastings to go home - she has just rung to say they have
arrived home at about 10.40 - she is `quite a girl`.

It does look as though we are going to be busy later this month - how lovely
you are having visitors from WestVirginia - you will have lots to chat
about.

I must go now, feeling a little tired! You sleep well too.

No, he's wearing his slippers but the stair treads are getting old and
that's where the clip-clippetty-clop comes from.

If you think you're not confused, you're just not thinking too clearly.

Oh yeah!
Morning Bernadette :-)
I'm hoping today to contact my schoolfriend who sailed off to America in
the late 50's. In those days we lived next-door-but-one to each other.
She's over here seeing her sister who lives in Liverpool. She's only
here for a week - long way to come for a week, isn't it?

It is indeed, is your visitor here this week?

I have a friend coming from the states to tour Scotland later this month
and coming to visit when they're across in Edinburgh and Fife. It's a
lass that Rob, Jim and I have known for more than ten years online.
Although Jim has spent time with her and her husband (another Jim) on a
holiday Rob and I haven't met them yet. I'm hoping for good weather by
then.

Yep.
We went to her sister's house to see if we could find her.
Unfortunately we had the wrong number. We'd put a note through the door
and the lady who lived there rang last night to tell us we had the wrong
house and today she went to the sister's house and told her all about
us. She said sister was pleased to hear from us and to give us the house
number so, now we've got that, things are looking up. Every time the
phone goes I expect it to be sister or our friend on the other end. As
yet that hasn't happened!

I hope it does turn fine for you. There's nothing more pleasant than a
first meeting that goes well, is there?

We met my friend and her sister last year. The day sped by so fast. We
never stopped talking!

I've announced it before and I'm sure I'll have cause to announce it again:

"Good, aren't I?" ;)
