Anyone Near Eugene Oregon

I'm cleaning out my late father's (W7SHO) hamshack. He was a builder,
lots of parts, salvage, transformers, tubes, connectors, some things I
can't identify. Also some complete units, military surplus and such.

I'd hate to send this to the landfill when I am certain some,
somewhere, might want it, or be able to use it.

I will monitor this group for a few days, or you may contact me
directly.

I'm about 45 minutes up the road from you in Lebanon. My father passed away
a few years ago, and I cleaned out his shack and put it all in my basement.
There were some usefull things, a couple nice radios (like a nice Drake TR7
:-) ) a lot of military stuff, pieces parts, etc. To be honest, I'm going to
take it and try to find homes for it as I don't really have need for most of
it. I have a couple thousand tubes in my basement already :).

I should be passing through Eugene in a few weeks - give me a holler if you
can't find homes for the stuff and still have it. I don't have time right
now to make a side trip, what with school and stuff going on. I hate to see
stuff like that scrapped. I almost cried when I found that my father's 10
meter and multiband arrays sitting on top of a nice rotator were all sold to
some guy for scrap metal (!!). I'm kicking myself for not taking the time to
crawl up on the roof and take it down when I had the chance grrrr...
