Need TX Mod for Alinco DR-599T

I'm wanting to work the Sunsat Satellite on my Alinco DR-599T but have
discovered that the up-link to the bird is slightly out of the normal
transmit range for this rig. I went to the QRZ site and found mods for
expanded RX but not transmit.

Remove the Controll head, 2 screws on each side.
Remove the 2 screws holding the control head together.
gently seperate back cover of the control head.
cut the red wire to receive aircraft band 120 Mhz AM.
cut the blue wire for expanded frequencies.
reassemble radio.
RESET the CPU.. with the power OFF, Hold the "function key"
and turn the power on. do not be surprised if you find the 800 Mhz
band also. It however will not work until you do the additional
antenna modification. the receiver is there..

did you see the loop next to the one you cut for the expanded rx ? If so
cut that one too and it will open the tx. You will have to do a hard reset
of the cpu to complete the mod though.

Right next to the wire loop you cut to expand the rx is another loop that
you cut to expand the tx.
