Hi,

I bought my Kenwood TM-G707A dual band (144/440) about 4 years ago and I
never had to set an odd split repeater frequency until now. Note: I did this
on the 440 band.

"Storing Odd-Split Repeater Frequencies" page 28 in OM

The instructions left out a very important detail. I have added this
(below) to my owner's manual: I know this has nothing to do with
modifying a radio, but it relates to modifying the instructions.

After selecting desired memory channel (step 6), without delay,
press and hold (1 sec) the "MR" button on the radio panel.
A "- +" should appear. Adjust the transmit frequency within 10 secs, and
press "MR" (on panel) without delay to store the data.
