Hello , wondering if anybody has had problems with the Ameritron 811H amp. ,
the unit I am speaking of has been down two times in 18 mo. , first was
under warranty and am currently replacing the high volt. electro. caps. and
a 50 K bleeder resistor , looks like the 50K was out of tolerance by about
100K and must have caused a electro. cap failure , the unit seems to be very
popular and am wondering if there are any others with similar failures ,
from new to two major repairs in 18 mo. seems excessive , Thanks , Phil L.

The bleeder resistor is a safety feature. 150K v 50k just means it'll
take a few more milliseconds to drain the filter cap. It should not
cause a failure.

The Biggest failure I have heard is with the relay.
