OT: hair straightening

I didn't know where else to post this. I'm a guy and have been growing my
hair for about seven months and its about seven inches in length now. I have
straight, dark hair but at the very bottom of my hair and only on the right
side of my head it curls out. Is there a reason this is happening and how
can I fix or avoid this from happening? I find that when I don't wash my
hair for a day or two and my hair becomes more oily the curling goes away
but I have to use a dandruff shampoo and washing my hair every day is a must
so that is not a permanent solution. When my hair grows longer will the
curling go away or lessen?

makes any hair straight. Not just afro hair, but curly or anything.

I saw an advertisement for a new Physique product but forgot the name of it
and it claims to change your hair (straight to curly; curly to straight,
etc..) for up to 20 hrs? Would this be effective?

Just get the ones I specificed from the chemists.

They are called "No lye - Hair straighter" or "Just for me".

They are 5$ and work perfectly if you follow the instructions and also
use a good moisturiser afterwards. I prefer to use coconut oil
afterwards.

I have even heard that castor oil or extra virgin olive oil works good on
your hair. Is there any validity to that?

oil is impossible to wash out, unless you have extremely rare healthier than
healthy hair.
a perm solution combed through the hair and left on , rinsed, neutralized,
and rinsed out according to manu.'s directions will give you the same result
without lyes, which can be very dangerous to use on previously chemically
altered hair.
