the Shockwave Surfer
for an amp. Solution: I opened up a defunct walkman, and soldered twoe
leads to the back of the record head. Then wired a patch cord to the
leads, and put on the headphones....Vio-f*ck$ng-la!! Cheap Rockman! I've
done this with working walkmans before, and that allows you to play along
with a tape! Too easy & cheap...

Germany. Anyhow, I used to have this massive bass amp, but it was not easy to
cart around. Simple hack to amplify my bass *without electricity* - you need
your bass, and a large wardrobe. Stand next to said wardrobe, shove the
back-end of your bass against it, and hold it there. Viola ! Instant
sound-box ! I never played the viola, though. Wardrobes aren't too portable
either, so you may use any large wooden surface (table, cupboard, head, etc).

Play acoustic bass (yo got yo strings, and yo wardrobe all in one). And if
you still wanna use yo wardrobe, make sure it's empty.

play gigs (I'm still working on the project using my AutoCad, but it uses simple
laws of physix to create resonance in a relatively small volume)
