This article was written by Alexander Higgins and originally published
at TheTruthIsNow.com

Wall Street banks have secretly taken over US firearms and ammunition
manufacturers and the world’s largest mercenary firms in a stealth build
up private military force.

A Daily KOs article reveals that Wall Street banks have used private
equity firms to acquire and launch a massive stealth takeover of private
security firms, US ammo and gun manufacturers, uniforms, silencers and
an army of mercenaries to build what amounts to the world’s largest
private army.

At the same time the private mercenary companies they now control, which
include the likes of Dynacorp and the notorious name changing
Blackwater/Xe Services/Academi, have been authorized under Department
of Defense DIRECTIVE NUMBER 3025.18 to actually conduct policing
operations inside the United States.

The article reveals Citi Bank, Bank of America, Barclays, and Deutsche
Bank have provide huge amounts of funding to two private Wall Street
equity firms, Cerebus and Veritas Equity, which in turn have used
umbrella companies such as Freedom Corp., to engage in stealth takeovers
and weapons stockpiling which has consumed the likes of several gun
manufacturers and ammunition manufacturers including Remington, Cobbs,
H&R, Marlin, Dakota, and Bushmaker.

Furthermore, the same private equity firms have taken over companies
involved in the “crowd control industry”.

One such example is CPI which manufacturers microwave and radio
frequency crowd control pain inducers similar to the US Military’s heat
gun which has been mentioned for deployment to control Occupy protestors.

All of this comes following news that the Department of Homeland
Security has purchased 450 million rounds of ammunition banned by the
Geneva Convention which is coupled with reports that feds are buying up
all surplus ammo and even ordering stores to cease sales to civilians.

At the same time a DHS informant says that the DHS is preparing for a
civil war and recently leaked army manuals reveal mass military
detention centers are being prepared inside the US for a War On Terror
‘strategy shift‘.

The fascists cometh. They are being a bit more stealthy this time,

This is old news nonsense. The ammunition purchase was for LEO practice and
duty use. It sounds like a lot, but it's not if you spread it around to the
whole country. Figure a trainee has to fire 10,000 rounds to qualify and 500
rounds a month to stay in practice. How many brand new border guards did they
just hire? 15,000? That's 150 million rounds just to get them qualified.

As for bullets, Hornady and Nosler are both reasonably local to me, and they
are both still small, family owned companies.

The shortage is between Steve's ears.

10,000 rounds sounds very high. A top USPSA shooter at the club level may
shoot 10,000 a year, and the sponsored Grand Masters might go through 50,000
round or more. Many, if not most, LEOs just aren't that interested and
outside of the deep pocketed Feds and their departments really aren't
interested in buying that much ammo.

Maybe the Feds are different. After all they have money (ours) to burn.

I didn't write the article that I posted the link to. I have been
informed by a friend that Snopes had discredited the article, but it is
too late for me to remove the OP. OTOH, the fact that it is false is
good news. I would hope that regulars in alt.survival and alt.guns
would prefer to read thought provoking articles that sometimes prove to
be false rather than limit conversation to, say, SM's posts on church
picnics or flashlights.

There was a shortage of .380 ammo for a while, when the 380 Kel Tec polymer
came out and everyone followed suit with their own polymer .380.
But that was about 2 years ago.

OP is usually a person "original poster". So, I sure hope you don't remove
any OP, that could lead to murder charges.

With bullets in short supply (and me not needing any, in my case), that
leaves more budget for church picnics, and flashlights. Thanks for pointing
out the good news.

OP also refers to 'original post' which is the meaning that stands out
to me in Hisler's usage here.

During the cold war with the USSR, I suggested that the US just give up
and let the USSR come over here and keep everyone here, in line.
After a few times that they sent 10-20 thousand of their troops over here
and they just disappeared, they would have a hard time getting
anyone to come over here.
We could have won the cold war in a year.

That's alot of pistol rounds to be sure you can hit what you're aiming

infact.

I guess they're slow learners. I think you can take every pistol class on
the Gunsite menu and only need 5000 rounds.

I've recently tried the stingers in my 10/22 and my Mark III, and did
not really notice a difference over the regular 22 ammo I normally use.

Take a bit of 250-400 grit sand paper (or emery cloth), and slide it
through your jag tip on a short section of cleaning rod. Disassemble the
rifle and insert the jag and 400 grit paper. Now spin it for 30 seconds
with an electric drill motor, moving it gently in and out of the
chamber. Clean with a bit of light oil on a patch, reassemble and shoot.
If it fails to extract again, repeat the polishing. Doesnt take very
much to clean up a 22s chamber. And yes..you CAN spritz the chamber with
Breakfree, Triflow etc etc and shoot it wet. Something you cant do with
centerfires.

The whole barrel or ???

If you have sticking cases..you are simply trying to clean up the rough
chamber that is causing the brass to stick to in the barrel.

Polishing the chamber is all you are trying to do. Period. End program

The brass expands when its fired..and seals the bore and lets the
pressure build up..launching the bullet down the barrel. When the
pressure is gone..that brass case is SUPPOSED to shrink a smideon and
easily slide out of the chamber. The only reason in most cases it
doesnt..is a filthy chamber AND a rough chamber wall..IE..the inside of
the chamber is rough and holds onto the brass case. When you polish off
the machining marks..nothing remains to hold in the case.
