So what else is new?
Go buy Miles Davis' "Bitches Brew."

Stage names??? Those are nicknames that they have had since they were like
14, 15 or so...
Munky - Because Fieldy thought his feet look like those of a monkey's
Fieldy - A long story that started with him having gopher checks and then it
eventually turned into fieldy. I can't remember the story.
Head - Because he has a really big head and he says that barely any hats
will fit him...
They may be stupid but isn't that what nicknames usually are? They aren't
just stagenames...

power chords. There are no complex rhythm lines or leads. Guitar-wise they
haven't innovated anything besides using and making 7 string guitars popular
(Steve Vai was the first to use them if I remember correctly).

Ah, but what's in a name? Calling shit perfume still makes it smell like shit,
only it's got a prettier name.

For what it's worth, "Munky" was a term once used to refer to female
genitalia, and when's the last time you got any "Head?"

Me, I don't like Korn either, but I learned that music is whatever
someone says it is.
Therefore, Tom Waits' stuff, whatever it may be to me, is music to someone
else for the simple fact that they call it music and nothing else. that's
why Edgar Varese's stuff is music as well as Bach's, and Korn is music
just like Foreigner.
Melody is irrelevant, "music," as we know it, is irrelevant, scales are
irrelevant, instruments are irrelevant, voices are irrelevant,
noise of any origin, way, shape, or form is irrelevant, silence is
irrelevant. Whether anyone likes it or not is irrelevant.
All that *IS* relevant is whether it gets labeled as music or not by
*ANYONE* whether they know what the hell they're talking about or not. If
it is considered music, it is music. Get over it.

My god! Someone that is just in between, someone who finally realizes
that music is ANYTHING! If we could just have more people like this,
instead of you small minded bigots
