Good question, Could someone also say what his solo stuff is actually like
plaese. Basically I want to know if his guitar playing is like on the meat
loaf and Jim steinman albums....screaming notes, motor bike guitars'n'all.

cheers

Todd seems to be a low creative point right now. He's been busy trying
to put together Patronet, an on-line internet music distribution
subscription system for himself and other artists. It's been a long
time coming - it's about a year overdue. When it finally comes, you
will be able to subscribe to one of several plans that get you access
to new music (on-line and via CD,) video, written material, etc. Todd
has written an interface to the site that resembles a web browser, but
it's not fully functional yet.

You can get a better feel for his intentions by checking out:

http://www.tr-i.com/subscribe.html

In the meantime, he put out an album, "With A Twist", containing
mellow bossa-nova-flavored versions of some of his songs; he's also
toured several times in the last year as a solo act and with a band,
doing a very entertaining show to promote "Twist".

I'm hoping he's working an album of loud rock and roll.

Just to let you know...our shop, being as multi-talented as it is, has
translated Yngvie Malmsteen into English...

The English traslation is: "Opening Act".

Thought you'd like to know...

I'm from Finland... the literal translation is "Wang-Me Hard". A
looser interpretation would be "Useless Strat Consumer" .

TR was the subject of an article in a recent issue of Guitar Magazine...I
think it was the March '98 issue. Mojo Magazine, out of the UK, also ran a
lengthy article in either January or February of this year. Sorry, but I don't
have the copies handy at the time of writing this. You might try the Guitar
Magazine website, at www.guitarmag.com.

I saw the same set at HOB in Orlando..it was really cool, I thought....he's a
true artist. It would have been easy and (IMO) boring to hear the same old
songs rehashed in the same way. The musicianship was incredible as well. It was
a great show.
