I figure maybe I'll toss this out and see if anyone has heard what I have
heard. I could SWEAR that I heard on VH1 in the preview for their Reunited
show that Gary Cherone says that Nuno slept with his wife. Now... when I
actually watched the show I didn't see anything like that. Was I dreaming??

Did anyone else hear this?

All I remember from that show was Cherone telling the host, "Don't piss him
off." I guess he did because the show never went on. Oh well....... We
can always relive the Berlin concert in our memories........ NOT!!

Yes I did. I heard one of the band members (it wasn't Gary and I don't think
it was Gary's wife that they were talking about) say that another guy in the
band (I believe it was Nuno he was talking about but I'm not sure) had slept
with (and is still with her!) this bandmember's wife. I tuned in just to see
who it was. And it wasn't in the show. But it was in the promo so you're not
crazy. I saw it too. What it told me the most was that that guy was really a
decent person (or wanted to get back with the band really bad). I know if
someone took my wife I'd never want to see him or her again. Much less play
in a band with him while he's still with her!

Yeah, I heard that. It went something like, "Nuno was sleeping with my
wife, and he still is...".

I haven't seen the show - I can't get their schedules right.

It was a joke. Gary is a real cutup. They all are actually. Gary is not,
I don't know of, married. Never has been I don't think.

It must have been the drummer. As you know, guitar players are good with
their fingers, while all drummers do is play with sticks.

isn't nuno married to suzie dimarchi, formerly of baby animals?

if so, there are few girls worth climbing over suzie to get to.

Yes, I am glad I wasn't dreaming. I was looking forward to getting some
juicy gossip. Nuno wouldn't even show his face on camera. Wow, sensitive I
guess - or just likes his privacy. Talented guy though, I sure wish he'd
put something out that would sell and get some airplay! At least do a
clinic!

When my wife and I were first married Extreme played a benefit concert in a
small venue near where we lived and she made me take her.
I fell asleep.
The only thing Nuno did that interested me at all was a drum solo on his
guitar.
She woke me up after they did their 'hit' and said we could go to the show I
wanted to see so we went to a tiny basement club and saw Southern Culture on
the Skids for the first time. Rick is an absolute monster in the
surf/rockabilly type area and we had a blast.
We even got to sing "Carve That Possum" while sharing a mic with Rick!

Some of the guitar work on Nuno's solo stuff is surprising. I just wish it
was all instrumental.

That song is on the album "Waiting For The Punchline" by "Extreme". That
album is not one of their best but that is the most awesome song I've heard
"Nuno" play!

Something like that. He is not in Extreme anymore, it would be a step in
the wrong direction at this time for him to do that.

True enough. Population 1 is not bad stuff, I have heard the band he put
together for Japan was/is superb and does a great job at it. Probably won't
ever see them in the US though.

> At least do a clinic!

He used to do them in Europe, will not do them here in the US.
