I heard that he got screwed over by his record company or something, and
that he got out of the music business completely. At least, that's what
a friend told me - this friend said he saw the story on VH-1's "Where
Are They Now." So, what's the real story? Anybody know?

It was a case of partial Extreme.

You know.. he has a band out in California the last I heard. I remember
going to the website and they actually sounded pretty good. Better than his
Mourning Widows stuff. Maybe you can do a little search on the net. If I
find that site again or find out.. I'll post it.

Nuno's one of my all time favorite players, probably my favorite, as my
style is more closely related to his than any other player that I've heard.
Man, that dude is funky.

I like Nuno as well. He turned out to be a great fan of George
Lynch, whom he learned quite a bit from. George liked him at the time
of Pornograffitti as well. Last I heard though, was that Nuno went into
producing as well, and producing in Australia, as his wife is a member
of Baby Animals (huge in Oz).

Suze De Marchi, and yes she is Nuno's wife and yes Baby Animals broke up but
not because of her having babies.

It's because Russell Crowe's band is so awesome that all the rest of them
quit.

Or he was so uninspiring that everyone else quit in disgust

Rumour has it that Suze is singing for INXS at the moment.

Baby Animals were an AWESOME rock band. I was lucky enough to see them
twice in their short lived career.

Yea!!! That's the one. I guess if the band had a more memorable name, I
would have remembered it.

Actually he wasn't "on" VH1's Bands Reunited. He told them not to show
any of his footage. And he was the guy I wanted to hear about the most.

But I agreed with his decision not to play for VH1. I mean c'mon, get
the old band together to potentially make asses of yourselves and having
that performance as the fans' last memory?

Way to go Nuno! Their music was tight and I don't think they could have
tightened things up in the short amount of time needed. And that
probably wasn't even his reason.

He is very angry at somebody. Good record that one.
