After you pair a Bluetooth device for the first time, your devices can pair automatically. If your phone is connected to something through Bluetooth, at the top of the screen, you'll find a Bluetooth icon . If my headsets were paired with windows last time, they wouldn't connect with arch and vice versa. I have to remove the headset and pair it each time I'm using it on a different operating system.</div><div></div><div></div><div></div><div></div><div></div><div></div><div>Hey guys, im also getting the same problem when trying to connect my sony earbuds. I have tried installing and downgrading the packages and editing some config files like said in this forum, though i still get a 'br-connection-profile-unavailable' error message. Could anyone give me a quick fix?</div><div></div><div></div><div>I was having problem connecting a Bluetooth mouse, first time I paired it in Ubuntu it was working fine, but after also pairing it in WIndows it stopped working properly. It was connecting and disconnecting in short interval of time approximate few seconds.</div><div></div><div></div><div>the first time I tried to connect my camera (Rebel SL2) with bluetooth to the camera connect app via bluetooth to my phone (android) worked perfectly, so it is so absolutely frustrating that after turning the camera off a few times, the connection seemed to not work anymore and when trying to set it up again, it wont connect at all.</div><div></div><div></div><div>when trying to pair from the app, the error message that appears says "pairing failed: delete the camera from the bluetooth settings screen on your smartphone, and then perform the pairing again." I have tried this about 7 times now, including deleting the app, uninstalling the app, resetting all of the settings on both my phone and the camera and still nothing works.</div><div></div><div></div><div>Okay so I actually solved this almost by accident. For me the problem began after an Android system update, don't know if it's related. But somehow my phone had revoked the app's access to bluetooth. I could see the camera on the list of bluetooth access points on the phone, but the app did not have permission to access, nor did it ASK for it, which is obviously a flaw in the app. After giving the app permission to use bluetooth, I could establish a new connection and it works flawlessly.</div><div></div><div></div><div>Yes, a wifi connection is established between the phone and the camera after bluetooth has linked them. But that connection is made by linking through bluetooth, not wifi. So it's incorrect to say "use wifi instead" - that's a completely different way to connect them. Bluetooth HAS to work, and canon needs to fix their app so it lets the user know when permissions are missing.</div><div></div><div></div><div>The Bluetooth is used to make the initial connection, however once the devices are paired they communicate with each other over WiFi, so the function of the two is the same. To troubleshoot the Bluetooth in this case however the first thing I would check is if the camera can connect over Bluetooth to any other devices. Any Android or iOS device should do, we just want to see if the issue is the camera's Bluetooth connectivity specifically.</div><div></div><div></div><div>I'm having the exact same problem (Android, bluetooth, Eos 250d) and have been using bluetooth connection to take photos outside with my phone as the remote. And you're saying I can only use a wifi? I tried turning on my phone's hotspot wifi but didn't manage to connect the camera to that either. How are you supposed to use camera connect when not on a wifi??</div><div></div><div></div><div>So I have previously been able to send across my images from my Canon to the EOS Utility software on my PC until today, I went to connect and each time i select the option to connect the camera stops responding for a while and eventually "restarts" as though it were just switched on and the menu function returns. I cleared the bluetooth and wifi connections and went to start again and now it crashes everytime i get to the "Add device" selection, it doesn't search it just freezes and restarts.</div><div></div><div></div><div>Let's proceed with clearing the camera settings as well, not just the wireless settings. After clearing the camera settings, let's clear the wireless settings one more time and then establish a new connecting between your computer and the camera. I understand you've been attempting to connect the camera to your computer and to your mobile phone. If possible, let's try a different computer or a different mobile device to see if the same issue occurs.</div><div></div><div></div><div></div><div>In case the problem persists, then we would suggest to send the EOS 90D camera to our facility for service. You may log in to your My Canon Account to begin the repair process through our online repair portal.</div><div></div><div></div><div>You need to disconnect and forget the Neo from the Windows 10 laptop. To connect Bluetooth devices to Zwift it should NOT be connected to any other device or app (including your laptop) before opening Zwift.</div><div></div><div></div><div>I have been having these issues as well but yesterday the BLE connection from the PC to the smart trainer worked actually worked. I am not sure if there was another update from microsoft or zwift but everything seem to connect. The only thing that seems off is that there is no option to calibrate the trainer.</div><div></div><div></div><div>I did this, too, before finding this post, but wanted to know what others were doing. My iPhone has never had a problem locating bluetooth devices, unlike zwift + windows.</div><div></div><div>I was disabling every blutooth device I could find and still having connection issues (keeps finding and losing devices in zwift), so I switched my bluetooth back ON on my phone. Then on zwift in windows, from the options on the top right of the pairing screen, I selected to use zwift companion. Everything popped up perfectly and stayed on. I think between windows and zwift there are a lot of random issues. Not to mention the time a windows auto update took out my bluetooth halfway through a ride until I restarted windowzzzz.</div><div></div><div></div><div>Hi folks, I'm trying to do some Bluetooth tasks, but am always told I need to allow the Bluetooth connect permission. However once I'm taken to the permissions screen, there's no option for it - I've allowed every permission available</div><div></div><div></div><div>I have the same problem with the BMV-712 Smart. It is very annoying that once every few days this error occurs, and the only solution is to turn off the power supply. Then the calibration and synchronization with the battery are reset, which is not at all ok. I use an android smartphone that I keep permanently connected to the BMV-712.I think it is a software problem, maybe the BMV-712 or the application. Please Victron solve this problem! </div><div></div><div></div><div></div><div></div><div>Hi everyone, the past few days there have been some updates to the Victron Connect application (v5.48) and the BMV-712 Smart (v4.08).BMV-712 was already in failure, the phone could not be connected via bluetooth, and after the update it was possible to connect. But this morning, so after a few days, the problem reappeared again, you can no longer connect via bluetooth until after the power cycle. I sincerely hope that updates will follow to solve this annoying problem, not only for us users, but especially for the VICTRON company.</div><div></div><div></div><div>I had a similar problem today. After the winter, I tried for the first time in months to connect my iphone via bluetooth to my MPPT 100/50 and my BMV 712 s. The units were visible in the Victron app, I could connect the MPPT but not the BMV. The app requested a bluetooth connect code which should be shown om my BMV unit. Nothing was shown there. I punched my PIN in, but that did not help. Restarted my phone, eliminated the unit on the list and tried the entire process again with the same result. I then ignored the app and used the unit manually, that worked ok. Any Ideas how to solve the bluetooth problem? Should I disconnect the power from the unit ?</div><div></div><div></div><div>Hello Joachim Amusssen,</div><div></div><div>please look for the PUK on the BMV , it should be printed on the connection side or on the box.</div><div></div><div></div><div></div><div>Enter the PUK at the 3 dots next to your BMV in Victron Connect. Your BMW has already been reset to PIn 000000!</div><div></div><div></div><div></div><div>I hope it could be helped you further.</div><div></div><div></div><div></div><div></div><div></div><div></div><div></div><div></div><div>If the pairing information stored by your Bluetooth device is deleted (e.g. device reset), you will be unable to connect it to the device you previously registered. It's a bit like forgetting someone's phone number means that you cannot call him or her!</div><div></div><div> 9738318194</div>
