I'm trying to determine the monetary value of a guitar that I have and I
can't find any info on it anywhere. It's a japanese Martin copy with a
rosewood fingerboard, what appears to be an aged cedar top and mahogany
sides. The back is a two piece mahogany layout. It has a nice bright tone
and plays quite well. The back of the head stock says "Daion" and the stamp
inside the body says "Tamaki Co. Ltd. since 1954" and thats it. Any info
would be most appreciated. Thanks!

i have a guitar that's sounds very similar to yours...martin copy.
almost the exact same specs as yours...except the brand is "Yamaki", not
"Tamaki." it's also "since 1954". how odd...

it's a dark-sounding sucker, and i wish it had a little more sustain.
it's the one i learned on. serial #: 220613

hope this helps,
simon
